  • Avocado oil is a type of carrier oil.The pulp around the avocado seed, Persea americana, is used to make avocado oil.
  • This oil is suitable for dry, sensitive, and blemish-prone skin. The use of avocado oil is probably not advisable for those with oily skin, though. It can be more harmful than preferable due to the oil thickness.

Ingredients

Oleic acid (up to 66%) and palmitic acid (12–24%) are just two of the many fatty acids that avocado oil is high in. Omega 3 , Vitamins A, E, and D are abundantly present in this oil.

Benefits

1. Delays aging:
As we grow older, our ability to produce collagen declines, leaving the skin drier and looking older. Avocado oil's phytosterols and vitamin E stimulate the creation of collagen, which delays the onset of ageing. Due to the high oleic acid content, it has powerful moisturising and emollient characteristics that leave the skin feeling soft and supple and minimise the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines.

2. Boosts collagen build up:
Fatty acids and the vitamins A, D, and E are abundant in avocado oil. According to studies, these nutrients may help to build collagen and increase the skin's tensile strength. Following procedures like dermabrasion, avocado oil can be utilised to moisturise the skin. This could stimulate the production of collagen and ensure the youth of your skin.

3. Moisturises and nourishes the skin:
The skin is nourished by the lipids, minerals, and vitamins A, C, D, and E in avocado oil. It moisturises dry, damaged, and chapped skin when applied topically. The lipids in the oil improve the permeability of the skin and rebuild the skin barrier. This suggests that using avocado oil may improve the way skincare products are absorbed.

4. Repair UV-Harmed Skin:
Avocado oil can aid in reducing inflammation and UV damage. It contains polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols (PFA), which can reduce inflammation and cell damage brought on by UV radiation. Avocado oil can also be used to soothe sunburns and stop photoaging (like dark spots and pigmentation).

5. Reduces eczema and psoriasis skin inflammation:
Acne and psoriasis-related dry, itchy, and flaky skin often respond favourably to the antioxidants and vitamins in avocado oil.
