  • The blossoms of Anthemis Nobilis L, a member of the Asteraceae flower family, are used to make chamomile essential oil. There are other regional names for chamomile roman, including English chamomile, sweet chamomile, ground apple, and garden chamomile.
  • This oil may be used on all skin types, however sensitive skin types are likely to benefit the most since chamomile extract calms the skin.

Ingredients

The main components of Chamomile Roman Oil are:
1. Alpha-bisabolol
2. Chamazulene
3. Bisabolol oxide
4. Farnesene

Benefits

1. Calms and soothes sensitive skin:
Roman Chamomile essential oil is known for its gentle and calming properties, making it ideal for sensitive or inflamed skin. It can help reduce redness, irritation, and itching caused by skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea, and dermatitis, providing relief and comfort to the skin.

2. Anti-inflammatory properties:
Roman Chamomile essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and redness associated with skin irritation, sunburn, or acne. It can also help to calm down irritated skin and promote a healthy skin barrier, which can aid in preventing further skin damage.

3. Hydrates and moisturizes the skin:
Roman Chamomile essential oil is a natural emollient, which means it helps to moisturize and hydrate the skin. It can be beneficial for dry or dehydrated skin, as it helps to lock in moisture, keeping the skin soft, supple, and plump.

4. Antioxidant properties:
Roman Chamomile essential oil contains antioxidants, such as apigenin, that help protect the skin from environmental damage and oxidative stress. These antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals, which can contribute to premature aging, and promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.

5. Promotes a healthy complexion:
Regular use of Roman Chamomile essential oil can help improve the overall complexion of the skin. It can help even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of dark spots, and promote a more radiant and luminous complexion, giving the skin a healthy and youthful glow.
