  • Rosehip oil is made from the real fruit, or rosehip, of the rose plant. It is the tiny bulb that resembles a small cherry tomato and is located at the base of the blooms.
  • Also known as rosa canina, they are primarily found in the mountains of Chile, Argentina, and Southern Africa.
  • This oil is suitable for all skin types.

Ingredients

Vitamin C and vitamin A are both present in rosehip oil. Rosehip oil also contains vitamin F, a fatty acid made of linoleic acid and alpha-linoleic acid, and essential fatty acids like the following: Oleic acid, Palmitic acid, Linoleic acid, and Gamma linolenic acid.

Benefits

1. Lightens dark circles:
Rosehip oil, a popular ingredient in under-eye serums, is thought to aid in the fading of dark circles.

2. Hydrates the skin:
Linoleic and linolenic acid are among the many important fatty acids found in rosehip oil. These fatty acids aid in maintaining the strength of cell walls to prevent water loss.

3. Eliminates scars:
Rosehip oil can reduce the visibility of scars, whether they are caused by acne, chicken pox, pregnancy stretch marks, weight loss, or anything else, thanks to the fatty acids it contains.

4. Brightens dull skin:
In the form of carotenoids, rosehip oil is a potent source of vitamin A that brightens the skin. It enhances the skin's radiance, evens out skin tone, and brightens drab skin. Additionally, the emollient feature of the product makes the skin supple, moisturised, smooth, and radiant.

5. Gives you glowy skin:
Once more, it's the trusted vitamin C, known for improving skin luminosity, that will contribute to bringing out your natural shine. If you want to highlight your cheekbones and brow bone but don't like the sparkly, artificial quality of most highlighters, try a little rosehip oil as it is loaded with it!

6. Minimizes temporary redness:
Rosehip oil helps reduce the look of temporary redness because it contains fatty acids that relaxes skin.

7. Serves as a makeup remover:
The oil can be used to remove eye makeup, even waterproof eye makeup. It may also be used to remove all of other makeup.
